Discover the Magic of Paddex!

Warranty

We offer a ninety (90) days warranty on jumpers and suspension bars and a thirty (30) days warranty on all other products made by Paddex.  This warranty covers production defects that affect structural and/or safety issues only, not normal wear and tear or cosmetic issues.  Please contact support@paddex.ca for more information or to inform us of a problem with your item.

Returns

Mostly for sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns.  Please contact us at sales@paddex.ca with your questions before your purchase to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Pictures

We try to include the most pictures with each item we are selling, so you can get the best idea about it.  Please note that our web hosting service limits them to ten (10).  We never use stock photos, everything you see in a listing is what is actually for sale.

Craftsmanship

Since our items are handmade, each one is unique, and some small imperfections may be possible.  Don't worry, these will never affect the function or safety of the item!  In fact, you may never notice them.

Shipping

We understand there are many types of clients, with different levels of comfort with displaying ABDL content and items.  For this purpose, we always ship in plain white packaging.  Please contact us at sales@paddex.ca for other arrangements.

We always ship with Canada Post and provide a tracking number.  For other arrangements, please contact us before making your purchase at sales@paddex.ca

Our liability ends as soon as we drop a package at the Post Office.  In the event that Canada Post or your local carrier loses or damages your package, please contact us at sales@paddex.ca to see what we can do to help, because each case will be different.

To prevent theft, it is your responsibility to ensure and provide a safe deposit location.  If this cannot be achieved, please ask your local carrier to keep your package at the Post Office (either by phone or via the carrier's app).  You can also contact us to request shipping options like Signature Required, Do Not Safe Drop, Leave Card for Pickup, etc.  These options are offered by the postal carrier and cost only a few dollars more.

Notes for jumpers and suspension bars

Due to the difficulty to estimate house structure, desired bouncing effect, ceiling height or suspension frame, personal body weight and height for perfect fit, the bouncing hardware (bungee cords) isn’t included with our jumpers.  Please contact support@paddex.ca if you need more technical advice, but be aware that we cannot install the jumpers for you.

All suspension bars listed are compatible with every jumper we sell.

Safety load limit

Jumpers have a static load limit of 325 lbs.  They may support more weight, as we over-engineer every jumper, but we are not responsible for anything that happens above that threshold.

Wear and tear

As with any other assembled item, normal wear and tear will happen.  It is impossible to predict this, as every situation is unique.  But our high-quality products should last for years to come without any worry!

Periodic safety check

Especially for any suspension-type product, please inspect it regularly to detect any tears or holes that could affect the structural integrity and thus the safety of the product.  If present, stop using it immediatly and contact support@paddex.ca for advice.  We can only offer repair services (for a fee) in our local area.

Jumpers Care Instructions

  • Hand wash only, no chemicals.
  • Use mild soap to wash stains with a soft clean toothbrush.
  • Hang the jumper upside down by the crotch to dry out if soaked wet, interior flipped and facing exterior.
  • Do not wring or bleach.
  • NEVER use washing machine or drier. This will mess up the padding.
  • KEEP AWAY from high heat sources like open flame and heating systems. Avoid smoking as hot ashes might ignite material.
  • Do not leave in a car for long periods. Extreme heat might damage the components of the harness and losing strength.
  • When not in use: Do not leave outdoor exposed to UV light and rain.
  • Failure to follow care instructions might result in permanent damage to the fabric, straps, internal components, and might compromise the safety of the harness.
  • Life expectancy of the harness and accessories depends on the usage frequency, proper care and proper storage. It will last several years in occasional use, ideal dry tempered indoor conditions, protected from UV light, and by following the guidelines.
  • Like every gears and clothes, it could prematurely get worn out for many reasons : some types of sharp gears , jeans, pins on clothing, sweat, body fluids, perfume, use of chemicals, excessive use, bad installation, incorrect positioning, exceeding weight capacity, etc...
  • Not designed for hanging heavy objects or someone by the padded trims on top of the fabric harness.
  • Do not cut, punch holes, or modify in any way the straps.

Jumpers Safety Instructions

  • Do NOT climb on jumper to get in it unless it's low level installation. In long term, doing so can make internal straps and padding move and become uncomfortable. Use a chair or a small ladder / step to properly position yourself or your little one in the harness.
  • You can use both ends of hanging straps as a second height adjustment. When using the lower height setup, make sure the reinforcement straps (different colour than the long straps) are well centered on the hanging bar. They should be even and folding in half. If those straps aren't centered, pull the front straps or the back straps down until they are entered. That way, it ensures a better fit.
  • They are made heavy duty for occasional fun play, where feet (or at least tip toes) can firmly touch the floor. These harnesses are not made for complete suspension. To preserve the actual look of a baby jumper / bouncer, the standing position remains the best way to bounce freely.
  • Do not use for extended sessions without having both feet touching the floor when not bouncing.  Otherwise, discomfort between legs will become unavoidable. Do not wear clothes or costumes with sharp ornaments as it could damage the fabric or the straps.
  • Do NOT exceed recommended weight capacity.
  • Do NOT use on a bouncing setup that exceeds 10' of height, as it can cause excessive stress on straps.
  • Make sure to inspect straps each time you use it.
  • Make sure to use safe and proper mounting with a capacity of at least the double of your own weight.
  • Make sure that straps are not twisted or installed on poor quality mounting setup. Avoid sharp of too thin objects to hang the straps, as it could damage the straps.

For the new jumpers built after July 2023

  • They come with straps stabilizers under the lower hanging position (black plastic strap guides). They ensure a better positioning and equal height of the front and the back of the harness seat. It also prevents strap flossing.
  • When hanging the harness, make sure to use only the end of the straps, or the 2nd adjustment slots that are a different strap colour (if equipped of that feature).
  • Make sure to not mistakenly hang it under the straps guides (black plastic). They are only guiding straps, and not made to support the weight of a person. They will simply break! If you accidentally did, don't worry. The harness is not compromised and will still remain safe. These part can easily get replaced, and they are not essential.

Mitts Care and Safety Instructions

Care instructions

  • Hand wash only.
  • Hang to dry.

Safety instructions

  • These mitts are not made for full suspension bondage by the wrist straps or D-rings.

*Make sure the fabric of mitt is not stuck in buckle. Be careful to hear a CLICK on both sides.

5- Insert the key in slots to lock them, turn 1/4  turn clockwise.  Do the reverse to unlock (for key lock models).
